Synthetic Turf Removal
PSS, Inc. is currently one of the industry leading turf removal companies. We have recently engineered and designed a state of the art skid steer turf removal attachment, patent pending, which allows us to effectively and quickly remove synthetic turf from any athletic field. This machine has been tested on over a dozen projects throughout the Northeastern Region of the United States. Turf has successfully been removed from multiple field bases including e-layers and shock pads as well as substrate with sand/rubber infield mixes, weighing up to 10 pounds per square inch, and losing only a minute amount of any original infield mix. The development of this technique has allowed PSS, Inc. to remove minimally damaged fields for re-installation in other locations. Clients are now able to enter the synthetic turf industry with a fraction of the cost for a new synthetic field.
